Mid/Senior Level Knowledge Engineer
Why This is an Exciting Role:
As a Knowledge Engineer at Boeing Intelligence & Analytics, you will be responsible for:
- Designing, refining, and implementing expansive domain ontologies for the DOD/IC.
- Applying Artificial Intelligence capabilities to classify data and deliver insights.
- Designing and implementing Semantic Technologies for intelligence integration.
- Utilizing advanced tools and computational skills to interpret, connect, predict, and make discoveries in complex data and deliver recommendations for business and analytic decisions.
- Advising on user applications and graph database design and implementations.
Experience and Qualifications:
To be eligible for this demanding position, the ideal candidate should demonstrate the following experience and qualifications:
Required Education and Years of Experience:
- Bachelors Degree in data science, computer science, software engineering, or a field applicable to the position required. Additional experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
- 9+ years of related work experience.
Required Qualifications:
- Active TS/SCI clearance with the ability to pass a polygraph.
- Expertise with Ontology tools, Graph Databases, and other Semantic Technologies.
- Proficiency with RDF, OWL, JSON, XML, or similar languages.
- Ability to work with a team to establish requirements and milestones for projects.
- Capability to work closely with Senior Government Leadership and Stakeholders to provide actionable recommendations and Courses of Action (COAs).
- Experience in a fast-paced, high visibility environment.
Desired Qualifications:
- Subject Matter Expertise designing domain-based ontologies for the DOD/IC.
- Significant experience utilizing Machine Learning methods and tools.
- Proficiency in Python and Jupyter Notebooks.
Telework/Remote Availability:
Available for part-time remote work.
Work Location:
Washington DC; Reston, VA.
Summary Pay Range:
Please note that the information shown below is a general guideline only. Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
$175,000 - $195,000
