Corporate Vice President - Change and Organization Development Partner, GenAI
This is an exciting opportunity to join New York Life’s enterprise Change and Organization Development Center of Excellence. This team was recently formed to play a pivotal role in the company’s evolution by supporting leaders, managers, and employees through change- preparing for new skills and behaviors to achieve long term outcomes.
About this Role
As a Change Management and Organization Development Partner, you will lead both Change and OD initiatives. This role involves conducting assessments, designing, and implementing change management and organizational development plans, and providing consultation and coaching to project teams. This role collaborates with senior leadership and HR Business Partners (HRBPs) to diagnose, assess change impacts or performance gaps and develop and/or recommend targeted interventions.
This job is a part of HR and the Talent Management team. You will be responsible for strategy and activation of several projects simultaneously including technology, culture and business transformation.
What You’ll Do
- Apply change management and OD methods, processes, and tools to support the adoption of business and technology transformations.
- Collaborate with Business Leaders and HRBPs to diagnose performance gaps and team effectiveness issues.
- Identify and manage resistance to change, working with stakeholders to mitigate risks and ensure successful implementation.
- Create presentations, tools and other client facing materials.
- Provide consultation and coaching to project teams, ensuring alignment with best practices and enterprise-wide approaches and tools.
- Establish metrics to measure the success of tactics and interventions.
- Develop strategic recommendations and collaborate with Change and OD experts across the enterprise as well as Continuous Improvement teams and consulting firms.
Qualifications for this Role:
- In-depth knowledge of change management and organization development principles, methodologies, tools and practical application.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a track record of measuring and evaluating the success of initiatives.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
- Experience in a corporate environment with a focus on large-scale technology-based change initiatives.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred with 5-8 years of experience in Change Management, Organizational Development, Human Resources, or a related field.
Certification in change management and OD (e.g., Prosci, SHRM) or other relevant certifications, preferred.
Pay Transparency
Salary Range: $117,500-$200,000
Discretionary bonus eligible: Yes
Actual base salary will be determined based on several factors but not limited to individual’s experience, skills, qualifications, and job location. Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. In addition to base salary, employees may also be eligible to participate in an incentive program.
