We are currently seeking a talented Software Engineer to join our team working on a restricted program in San Diego, CA. In this role, you will play a crucial part in the migration of legacy virtualized systems to cloud systems. Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement software solutions to support the migration of legacy virtualized systems to cloud systems.
- Participate in code reviews, design reviews, and other technical discussions to ensure software quality, maintainability, and adherence to coding standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with software systems, providing timely support and solutions to ensure smooth operation and optimal performance.
Technical Specifications:
- Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C++, and Java Spring, along with experience in related frameworks like Spring Boot.
- Demonstrated expertise in cloud-based technologies and architectures, particularly with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and/or Microsoft Azure.
- Solid understanding and practical experience with microservices architecture, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with DevSecOps principles and practices, including continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines, automated testing, and security controls.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in software engineering or a related field, with a proven track record of successful software development projects.
- Active Top Secret clearance and eligibility for Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) access.
