We’re looking for a US Renewable Tax Incentive Lead to join our business and the extremely dynamic market we operate in, and to embark on a journey with us towards a better tomorrow.
TEAM AND ROLE
You will lead the development of a Tax Credit Desk, driving transaction volume through lead generation from STX’s renewable energy origination desks, corporate advisory teams, and your professional network in the tax equity space. You will be responsible for structuring and leading negotiations, closing transactions, and collaborating with our structured finance team to bring financing innovation to the US transferable tax credit market.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive volume in transferable tax credit transactions
- Build out STX position in marketing tax credits for developers
- Support STX client pitches on the topic of tax credits
- Optimize tax credit procurement structures for clients
- Identify innovative financing opportunities with different stakeholders and clients in the tax credit market
Key Requirements
- 5-7 years of client facing tax equity experience, preferably in a transaction-leading role in a blue-chip advisory service
- Preferably strong network among buyers of tax equity instruments with focus on ITCs and PTCs
- Extensive experience in structuring (complex) transactions
- Experience in building durable partnerships
- Strong strategic and commercial mindset to drive both longer term vision and shorter-term opportunities
Compensation and Benefits
STX intends on offering the selected candidate a competitive base salary within the range of $120,000-$180,000, based on a number of objective factors such as relevant experience, holistic skillset, and applicable licenses and certifications. The candidate may also be eligible for discretionary compensation as determined annually within the company fiscal year.
