What To Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide legal guidance and support on contractual, regulatory, operations, and risk matters
- Draft, review, and negotiate plan and provider agreements
- Develop and implement contract templates, playbooks, and training programs
- Cultivate and maintain key internal stakeholder relationships
- Advise on compliance with federal and state laws and regulations
What Is Required (Qualifications):
- Ten plus years of relevant law practice in the United States
- JD from an ABA accredited law school
- Subject matter expert in health law and healthcare/life sciences space
- Strong research and analytical skills
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Large law firm or Fortune 500 in-house counsel experience
- Lead role in matters (i.e. “1st chair”)
- Ability to manage strategic initiatives/projects for JLD
- Strong management capabilities
- Excellent computer skills and proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook required
