Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (required)
- Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) or a related field (preferred)
Qualifications / Prior Experience:
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in the construction or renewable energy industry, with a focus on solar projects
- Proven experience in a senior leadership role, preferably as a COO, VP of Operations, or similar position
- Demonstrated success in managing large-scale construction projects from inception to completion
- Extensive experience in project management, procurement, and risk management
Certifications (Preferred):
- PMP (Project Management Professional)
- LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design)
- NABCEP (North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners) Certification

Essential Functions: (Other job-related duties may be assigned.)
- Direct, guide, and coach directors and managers to optimize project efficiency and minimize risk.
- Identify and mitigate potential employee issues.
- Manage and support employee development and growth.
- Identify and recruit additional staffing as needed.
- Provide regular and direct feedback on performance to directors and managers.
- Direct all field activity to achieve project completion on schedule, within budget, and with quality workmanship.
- Promote job site safety and rectify job site hazards immediately.
- Deploy and manage a high-performing team to accomplish business objectives.
- Identify project risks and work to mitigate them before impacting profitability, schedule, and client satisfaction.
- Identify gaps in management/processes and work to resolve issues quickly.
- Participate in executive team meetings.
- Represent Coral Reef Partners on social media and promote business efforts.
- Represent Coral Reef Partners at major trade shows and maintain relationships with key vendors.
- Collaborate with the CEO to secure larger institutional clients.
- Develop and support workforce development initiatives.
- Ensure the field team and operations are accountable for hours, costs, planning, and field execution.
- Ensure adherence to company safety policies by employees and contractors.
- Ensure proper Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and safety protocols are followed.
- Inspect reports and enforce safety procedures.
- Manage and track safety scoring metrics for work with larger partners.
- Deliver project management excellence in line with client expectations.
- Maintain positive relationships with customers, contractors, suppliers, and employees.
- Review, markup, and negotiate all EPC-related contracts, including exhibits.
- Review estimates and provide quotes for contracting.
- Participate in key client calls and meetings as required.
- Ensure the Coral Reef Partners execution team has the necessary human resources support for organizational growth.
- Collaborate with operations to plan workflow, staffing schedules, and project schedules.
- Maintain a master construction schedule, identify upcoming issues, and work with the team to solve problems.
- Develop and supervise a purchasing process to optimize job costs.
- Develop and manage resources needed to grow CRP’s bottom line.
- Develop KPIs to track productivity and site progress.
- Work with PMs and Site Foremen to mitigate site-related issues.
- Collaborate with the CEO and Operations to develop and refine SOPs.
- Track project budgets before, during, and after the project.
- Ensure timely billing and receipt of payments.
- Ensure Project Execution plans are developed and tracked.
- Ensure the CRP team builds high-quality projects that exceed expectations.
- Develop and execute CRP’s O&M strategy.
- Ensure PMs and site leaders aggressively work to close out projects.
- Ensure PMs and staff follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) related to project installation.
- Ensures CRP team is building a high quality project that will exceed expectations for years.
- Develop and execute on CRP’s O&M strategy.
- Ensure that PM’s/ Site leaders are working aggressively to close out projects.
- Ensures that PM’s and staff are following all SOP’s related to the installation of the project.
- This position reports to the CEO and is part of the Senior Leadership Team of CRP.
