The pay range for this position is $65,000 to $68,511 per year.

Job Summary/Primary Purpose: The Program Director provides overall leadership and oversight to the Kroc Center's Program areas to implement the vision established by the Kroc Officers to provide excellence in programming and fulfill the needs of the members and community.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for guiding the development of effective, impactful, and sustainable programs, including program development, implementation, and ongoing staff management.
- Assure that appropriate record keeping of program elements including statistical reports, accounting of expenditures and collections, program evaluations, etc. are maintained.
- Provides oversight, support, strategic guidance and development for program managers and coordinators as assigned by the Kroc Officers.
- Partners with Kroc leadership to develop and maintain overall strategies, priorities and direction for the Kroc Center.
- Develop short- and long-term program strategy to increase participation, satisfaction, and sustainability while supporting the overall Christian Mission of the Kroc Center.
- Identify community needs and develop programs and strategies to meet those needs.
- Identify opportunities for grants, MOU's, agreements, and contracts that assist in providing efficiency and sustainability in program areas and implement in coordination with Kroc Leadership and DHQ.
- Provide professional and effective oral and written communication in executing grants, MOU's, agreements and contracts as required.
- Ensure adherence to risk management and emergency procedures as well as all established Salvation Army (TSA) policies and procedures.
- Work with Program Managers and Supervisors to develop overall department budgets and achieve established budget priorities reflecting a sustainability mindset and monitor program resources as required.
- Oversees development of class schedules and recommend appropriate fee schedules.
- Develops and implements a plan for integrating volunteers into program departments to bring needed skills, increase community ownership, and increase bandwidth while controlling payroll costs.
- Participate in the Manager on Duty Program.
- Driving is an essential requirement for the role.
- All other duties as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities: Supervises program department management and coordinators.
Education and/or Experience: Bachelor's degree in a related field of study or equivalent industry knowledge and at least 5 years of related experience. Prefer a master's degree in a related field of study.

Ability to work/communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and program staff without prejudice, demonstrating the ability to handle sensitive issues with diplomacy. Demonstrate a servant's heart and a strong and growing walk with Christ.
- Have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, including Word, PowerPoint and Excel. Basic knowledge and ability to access HR/Payroll program which is used for timekeeping and pay purposes.
- Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability to write speeches and articles for publication that conform to prescribed style and format. Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.
- Ability to be flexible and able to work on multiple projects or tasks simultaneously.
- Demonstrated ability to handle confidential matters.
- Demonstrated knowledge of budgeting and fiscal management.
- Proven experience managing multiple subordinate managers and a large staff in a complex multi-discipline environment.
