Job Summary:
The Vice President of Supply Chain Management will play a critical role in overseeing and optimizing the end-to-end supply chain processes within CNE. This strategic leadership position requires a seasoned professional with a proven track record in supply chain management, logistics, and procurement, particularly within the healthcare industry. The successful candidate will drive efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and innovation in the supply chain to support the organization's mission of delivering outstanding patient care.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership:
Develop and execute the overall supply chain strategy aligned with organizational goals and objectives.
Lead and mentor a high-performing supply chain team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Supply Chain Optimization:
Implement best practices in supply chain management to enhance operational efficiency.
Identify opportunities for cost savings, process improvements, and supply chain innovation.
Procurement and Vendor Management:
Oversee the procurement process, ensuring the sourcing of high-quality goods and services at competitive prices.
Establish and maintain strong relationships with vendors and negotiate favorable contracts.
Logistics and Distribution:
Manage the logistics and distribution network to ensure timely and accurate delivery of supplies to various healthcare facilities.
Optimize transportation and warehousing strategies to reduce costs and improve service levels.
Compliance and Risk Management:
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements related to supply chain activities.
Develop and implement risk management strategies to mitigate supply chain disruptions.
Leverage technology and data analytics to enhance visibility and decision-making within the supply chain.
Identify and implement emerging technologies to drive innovation in supply chain processes.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
Proven experience in a senior-level supply chain management role within the healthcare industry.
Strong understanding of healthcare supply chain regulations and compliance requirements.
Demonstrated ability to lead and develop high-performing teams.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset.
