Role Description:
We are looking for a Director of Solution Engineering specific to the Consumer Goods business unit focused on the Fast Moving Consumer Goods [FMCG] Sub Industry. In this role, the Director will partner directly with the FMCG AVP of Sales as a strategic advisor in formulating go-to-market initiates to scale and grow the business. This will involve working in close partnership with internal thought leaders in Sales Programs, Sales Strategy, Industry go-to-market, Product Marketing, and extended Solution Engineering organizations.
A unique attribute of this role is the ability to partner & deliver impact with Senior Sales & Solutions Leaders across our Enterprise Consumer Goods customers and prospective customers. As the Solution Leader, you will work with Solution Engineers and a First-line Manager in allocating resources, performing employee reviews and evaluations, participating in strategic deals, driving relationships with Sales Leadership, the extended Solutions ecosystem, and leading the growth of our marketshare. The Director may be a player-coach, actively working with their team members to solve difficult problems, and coordinating corporate/external resources when required. The Director will drive strategic initiatives and programs as needed and actively support the team's career development and advancement.
Your Impact:
The Director will partner with the Sales AVP & RVPs in the AMER region to optimize & progress the pipeline and accelerate ACV growth within FMCG Enterprise market segment. The selected candidate will have the incredible opportunity to drive the business, drive career progression, and drive a culture of growth and inclusion.
Minimum Requirements:
The candidate will have a minimum of 5+ years of experience leading complex Solution Engineering organizations.
The candidate will possess good analytical capabilities, be organized, and able to lead several strategic initiatives at the same time.
Proficient with Service focused CRM technologies (or other Enterprise business applications) and be able to present to a business or technical audience.
Be able to represent the voice of the Solution Engineering team by providing guidance on sales strategies, approaches to solve specific problems, as well as represent team needs to executive stakeholders.
Able to communicate equally with internal resources such as Industry leadership, Product Management, Product Marketing, Development, and Sales Management to gain commitment and support.
Must have good fundamental Sales Skills (Value and Solution Selling) and advanced leadership skills.
Knowledge of advanced technologies and business processes including: Cloud Technologies and development, Modern Web & Mobile Applications, and detailed business process applications

BA/BS Degree
CRM/Salesforce knowledge
Salesforce Certifications a plus
