This role is part of the Test & Flight Operations team, providing centralized support to Business Units focused on the design, build, and maintenance of the ground systems, test, and launch facilities across multiple locations.

You will be responsible for generating tools and processes that will enable processing and tracking test demand and work closely with an accomplished team of systems and test engineers, leading and performing development tasks supporting our business partners throughout their full system lifecycle. This role functions as an integrated product team lead responsible for coordination across production and testing operations.
This effort includes both defining and implementing concepts, developing requirements, assessing, and providing input to leadership on current and future test demand planning to enable strategic and tactical decision-making on infrastructure development to support the demand from our customers.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Lead efforts to determine the test demand planning
- Understand current capabilities both internal and external with respect to testing
- Create requirements/tools that will aid in getting test demand from the customer to the test facilities to enable planning
- Account for current capacities and demand to provide insight into infrastructure development to increase the rate of testing for multiple business customers at several different sites
- Work on Test Demand Planning tools to enable decision making
- Update and maintain the test demand planning and capabilities catalog to increase efficiencies and reduce the cost of flight
- Support test execution/operations to ensure that planning has been implemented
Minimum Qualifications:
- B.S. in Engineering or related equivalent experience in a technical field
- 7+ years Testing Experience working on large complex programs with multiple partners
- Strong understanding of the principles and methods of engineering complex systems
- Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment
- Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusion
- Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
Preferred Qualifications:
- First principles knowledge of all different types of tests required for space flight operations
- Experience with the Atlassian tool suite (Jira, Confluence)
- Knowledge of current systems engineering and integration tools and methodologies
- Experience with requirements definition and management
- Database skills
- Experience with configuration and product data management tools, preferably Windchill
Compensation range for on-site WA applicants is $143,990-$191,986.
Other site ranges may differ.
