Key Account Director Overview:
As the Key Account Director, you will play a pivotal role in expanding revenue growth, leading market research initiatives, and managing all brand partnerships and collaborations. You will work with fellow brand leaders, as well as oversee a team of Sales professionals to meet goals in place, create future-focused objectives, and achieved continued presence, growth, and success for the business.
Key Account Director Responsibilities:
- Formulate and implement comprehensive sales strategies aligned with overall business objectives.
- Manage accounts inclusive of Ulta, Macys, Costco, and more
- Identify and target new markets and customer segments.
- Establish realistic and challenging sales targets for the team and individual sales representatives.
- Monitor progress toward goals and adjust strategies as needed.
- Recruit, train, and lead a high-performing sales team.
- Provide ongoing leadership and guidance to sales leaders.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients and strategic partners to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Collaborate with finance and operations teams to create feasible sales forecasts, monitor ongoing progress, and align fiscal strategies to overall business objectives.
- Develop sales forecasts and budgets to optimize available resource and maximize profitability and ROI.
- Provide ongoing, quarterly reports on sales performance, market trends, insights, and competitive analysis to senior leaders.
- Ensure that the sales team operates within allocated budget constraints.
Key Account Director Qualifications:
- A bachelor's degree in business, marketing, sales, or a related field is required.
- Extensive experience in the sales space with a proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- In-depth understanding of the beauty industry.
- Experience working with Ulta required
- Strong familiarity with market trends, competitors, and potential challenges.
- Strong leadership and management skills to effectively lead and inspire a sales team.
- Ability to motivate, coach, and develop team members.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess sales performance, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
