JOB SCOPE:
The Director, 3PL (3rd Party Logistics) Business Development is responsible for driving revenue growth within our network of 5 strategically placed Distribution Centers nationwide, totaling more than 5 million sq. ft of warehouse space, enables greater flexibility and scalability.
JOB SUMMARY:
The Director, 3PL Business Development is responsible for driving revenue growth by selling logistics services to new customers. The Director, 3PL Sales has a primary focus of building and maintaining strong relationships with potential customers, understanding their supply chain needs, and offering tailored solutions.

Responsibilities/Skills/Experience Requirements
JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Sources and qualifies potential clients within the logistics industry
- Identifies opportunities for new business and develops strategies to expand the customer base
- Attends industry events, conferences, and networking sessions to promote the company s services
- Develops and executes sales strategies that drive results
- Builds and maintains strong relationships with existing clients
- Understands new/existing clients supply chain requirements and pain points and regularly communicates with them to address their needs and provide updates on services
- Partners in developing customized logistics solutions based on client requirements
- Participates in negotiating rates, contracts, and delivery terms with carriers and logistics partner
- Presents proposals and conducts sales presentations to potential clients
- Stays informed about industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities
- Analyzes market data to identify growth opportunities and potential clients
- Ensures accurate and timely completion of paperwork, contracts, and agreements
- Works closely with internal teams legal, finance, and operations, to ensure smooth service delivery
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelors Degree
- 5-10 years of related experience
- Up to 25% travel
- 18 years of age or older
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and business growth
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in supply chain sales
- Bachelor s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field
- Proven track record in logistics sales, preferably in a 3PL environment
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Strong understanding of supply chain logistics
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
