Position/Title: Vice President/Senior Director – Private Equity Engagement
Department: Business Development
Compensation: Compensation will be based on your experience, expertise, and location. Detailed discussions will be conducted with shortlisted candidates during the further interview process.
Level: Full-time
Location: Work location USA (Remote working), candidate should be within 30-60 mins of a large airport, preferably in and around New York City. The job involves travel for business purposes.
Work Authorization: Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
Role Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic Vice President/Senior Director – Private Equity Engagement who will be responsible for client relations, growth, and managing high-value accounts within the Private Equity and Portfolio Companies segment. As a key member of Aeries Technology’s North America growth team reporting into the Chief Revenue Officer, you will play a crucial role in driving our expansion and ensuring client satisfaction.
In this role, you will:
- Be a Trusted Advisor: For Private Equity (PE) & Portfolio companies to guide them in their value creation journey.
- Lead Globalization Strategy Implementation: Spearhead the execution of Aeries' innovative Purpose-Built Model, ensuring clients receive customized solutions for their globalization strategies and Global Capability Centre (GCC) development.
- Client Management: Manage and expand a portfolio of clients, consistently exceeding expectations and fostering long-term relationships, while aggressively driving purpose-built and digital services engagements across all lines of services.
- Collaborate with Account Management, Delivery & Technology Teams: To ensure they understand client expectations and client needs are fulfilled effectively.
Must Haves:
- Prior experience working for Private Equity in a value creation role (Operating Partners as an example).
- OR
- Account management and Business Development experience in the Advisory/IT services industry, preferably in the Private Equity, Portfolio Companies ecosystem.
- Must have worked in the North American market.
Nice to Haves:
- Client Servicing Experience: Managing a client portfolio with diverse service offerings in a fast-paced environment, with a track record of increasing client satisfaction and revenue.
- Global Experience: Has experience working in a global environment with teams in different time zones.
- Globalization and GCCs (Global Capability Centres): Experience with globalization strategies, offshoring, nearshoring and/or GCCs is a strong advantage.
- Digital Transformation: Business Development experience selling technology enabled solutions offerings.
