The Treasury Manager oversees all operational banking relationships. As a direct report to the CAO, you will be responsible for overall liquidity management, interest rate management, capital deployment, debt covenant compliance, and implementation of new treasury policies.
Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with existing covenants using knowledge of all financial and credit agreement terms.
- Evaluate, develop, implement and monitor cash management systems to optimize efficiencies.
- Maintain weekly cash forecast.
- Manage interest expense planning, forecasting, and reporting.
- Understand, manage, and supervise all aspects of company cash flow.
- Manage merchant bank processing and money transmitter banks.
- Compile financial estimates and draft bank compliance package.
- Support funds flow and other M&A transaction requirements.
- Manage Company money order lockbox processing department to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and contractual SLAs.
- Recommend, implement, and maintain process improvements.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
- A proven ability to lead teams and collaborate across functional areas within a large organization.
- Solid accounting skills and familiarity working with accounting teams.
- Expert experience in Excel.
- Strong analytical experience and knowledge.
- Ability to work with senior executives under time pressure.
- Ability to present to a large and sophisticated financial audience.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 10+ years of relevant work experience, including in finance/accounting, investment banking, or similar environment to include:
- 5+ years’ experience leading, coaching, and developing staff.
- 3+ years of experience in a similar role for a private equity owned or public company.
- Extensive experience in preparing cash forecasts and cash flow analyses.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field.
- Prior experience in banking and/or finance a strong plus.
- Proficient in data retrieval applications such as TM1/Anaplan.
Physical Requirements:
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to: stand, sit, talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer, telephone, and a variety of office equipment. Occasionally, may need to reach, stoop, or kneel.
