Salary range is:
$131,986.00 - $175,000.00

The Role
The payment product acts as a broker between different Payment Service Providers and multiple CCC products. The payment product is responsible for managing credentials, recording payment requests, scheduling transactions, and distributing payment statuses.
The Senior Manager position is responsible for supporting and coordinating the work of the payment team, both onshore and offshore team members. The Senior Manager is directly responsible for the team achieving its goals.
Tech Stack: Java 8+, AWS, Containerization (Docker & Kubernetes), Spring boot, No SQL (Dynamo DB), RDS (PostgreSQL), Async Messaging (Kafka / Rabbit MQ), Data pipeline (Lambda/ AWS Firehose).
Key Responsibilities:
- Receives assignments in the form of objectives with goals and the process by which to meet goals
- Works on issues where analysis of situation or data requires review of relevant factors
- Exercises judgment within defined procedures and policies to determine appropriate action
- Create and follow the product release best practices
- Provides direct supervision to professional individual contributors and/or skilled, support individual contributors (e.g., technicians, designers, support personnel)
- Closely partner with the development and product management teams to deliver product features and business goals
- Work with project management to ensure project status is accurate and issues are raised up quickly
- Attract, hire, retain, and lead high-caliber engineering talent
- Support an excellent customer experience by being proactive in assessing escalations, and working with the team to respond appropriately
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience developing Java based applications in AWS Cloud
- 5+ years of experience being a people leader, coaching, mentoring and guiding for highly talented technical teams
- Experience building customer-facing products with performing, availability and high scalability and bringing in new technologies based on current industry standards
- Experience in cloud hosted SAAS (Software as a Service) industry
- Experience in Agile/Scrum practices and tools such as JIRA, Confluence, etc.
- A strong capacity and desire to learn
- Experience leading individual contributors and providing career direction, coaching, and building development plans
- Proven ability to collaborate and lead an engineering team
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics or a related field
- Quality-oriented mindset, with a drive for achieving both corporate and personal goals
- Professional and efficient communication skills, with attention to detail
