Responsible for leading, planning, and implementing the consumer marketing strategy and all patient-focused touch-points critical to commercial success of Nuplazid. Adept at using diverse elements of the marketing mix to deliver an excellent patient and caregiver experience, from awareness to ongoing treatment.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Strategic insight toward refinement of the Nuplazid overall marketing strategy
- Leading the development and implementation of an innovative, powerful multi-channel consumer marketing plan, from media and strategic partnerships to patient awareness, engagement, and activation
- Develop breakthrough creative including video, digital, social, website, email/CRM, and print
- Lead refinement and expansion of robust, data-driven digital, social, and mobile plan to engage and activate consumers
- Systematically develop and track metrics for media mix, consumer engagement, and promotional effectiveness, while linking to the broader success metrics of the brand
- Building a seamless, lock-step partnership with critical partners such as corporate affairs, advocacy, and health-care professional marketing
- Cross-functional leadership to gain alignment in focus and timing with internal partners both strategically and tactically
- Coordinating and driving focused market research plans to generate insights further driving plan and creative optimization and performance
- Lead consumer KOL/influencer identification and relationship development
- Lead patient/care partner ambassador strategy and execution
- Leadership of all consumer-related agencies to hold them accountable to the highest standards of performance
- Proactive management of marketing budget
- Other responsibilities as assigned.
Education/Experience/Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, healthcare, business administration, or related field, MBA preferred. A minimum of 12 years of progressively responsible experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry within the Marketing arena, including digital marketing experience required. A minimum of 8 years of experience in a leadership role required. An equivalent combination of relevant education and applicable job experience may be considered. Healthcare Professional and Consumer Marketing experience preferred. Experience with celebrity marketing campaigns, with elements of both non-brand and branded preferred. Technical marketing competencies: Marketplace/consumer analysis and insight generation, consumer segmentation, brand positioning, brand sustainability (campaign/message platform development), execution excellence (multi-channel development and metric development/tracking), Multi-channel media plan development, including innovative digital, social, mobile initiatives
Physical Requirements:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, see, talk or hear in a standard office environment and independently from remote locations. Employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds. Ability to travel by car or airplane independently overnight up to 50% of the time and work after hours if required by travel schedule or business issues.
