What You’ll Be Doing:
Our Senior Director, Growth Strategy will be joining a dynamic, high-performing business development team focused on establishing and growing partnerships with leading health plans and risk bearing organizations with deal values of $10M+ per year. In addition, this role will bring commercial perspective and market intelligence to strategic planning, sharing insights with growth areas across the organization.
The Senior Director, Growth Strategy will operate in a highly collaborative environment, partnering with leaders from Product, Strategic Accounts, Analytics, Finance, and Operations to drive the full partnership lifecycle.
The Senior Director, Growth Strategy will be responsible for taking a data-driven approach to launching strategic partnerships with health plans and other risk-bearing entities. This individual will own strategy development for new and expanding partnerships, and will manage key activities throughout the sales cycle, from initial pitch through implementation planning.
Advance the commercial process and achieve key go-to-market milestones by collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.
Develop best-in-class presentation strategies, narratives, and content to effectively showcase Evolent products to the market.
Bring voice of the customer to strategic growth planning initiatives, including by synthesizing insights for product roadmap.
Refine pricing strategy for Evolent specialty products in partnership with Analytics and Client Finance.
Create and maintain reporting, tracking and analytics tools to support operations and performance management across all phases of the commercial process.
Provide leadership within the Business Development team.
Qualifications - Required and Preferred:
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience- Required.
At least 7 years of experience in consulting, strategy, business development, and/or similar functions- Required.
Results-oriented with the ability to establish rapport, earn trust, and effectively collaborate cross-functionally- Required.
Strong analytic and communication skills, creativity, and a proactive problem-solving approach will be critical for this role- Required.
Excellent analytic skills, including proficiency in Excel- Required.
Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills- Required.
Organized and methodical with strong attention to detail- Required.
Experience in the healthcare industry, preferably working with payors operating in a value-based care environment- Required.
