We seek a seasoned advertising leader who will join the Global Growth Sales organization to build and lead the Partner Scale team. This team will work with external partners to support large numbers of Small and Medium Business Advertisers across multiple countries and accelerate their growth. The team’s missions will include establishing collaboration with external partners and training them on Sponsored Ads and the internal tools to extend tailored campaign recommendations, piloting their activities against a set list of KPIs and driving continuous improvements, and implementing effective feedback loops with internal Amazon stakeholders.
The role requires a very effective communicator with superior relationship building skills, advertising, sales and program management experience, and a passion for process and continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will need to understand the complexities of a global, high growth, fast-paced, high-performing and cross-functional organization, and can handle multiple, abstract projects while dealing with constant change and influencing outsourcing management team members and stakeholders. The candidate will also have bar raising analytical skills and a strong desire to achieve results, and effectively manage time, priorities and deliverables.
Key job responsibilities
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a fast growing and entrepreneurial organization, bringing innovation and growing adoption of Amazon Ads. In particular you will:
- Build up the outsourcing management framework with standard operating model and adhere to required process, mechanisms and service guidelines.
- Monitor the performance of the Partners, identify improvement opportunities to increase their throughput over time, and provide consulting and training support.
- Hire, develop and lead a team of top performing Partner managers able to operate in autonomy in their respective countries with their assigned Vendors.
- Determine short and long-term business plans and translate them into action plans with the vendors.
- Work closely with the Sales, Specialists and Product leaders across locations to ensure that the Partner Scale Go-To-Market plans are well aligned with the broader GGS strategy.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 10+ years of experience in Sales, Advertising or Program Management.
- Proven track record in managing external vendors or outsourced sales teams.
- Experience of high-level negotiation and successful internal and external relationship management.
- Experience hiring and developing top talents.
- Proven ability to influence Product and Tech teams.
- Proven ability to lead others, even in a remote management environment.
- Strong motivational and interpersonal skills, as well as intercultural skills.
- Proven ability to work in a cross-functional environment within all levels and organizational units.
- Proven ability to complete high workload effectively to tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $158,400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $262,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
