You are:
The Software & Platforms Sales Director is a complex deal shaper that aligns to client imperatives and solves business problems. They manage the opportunity from sales pursuit to close using deep sales process and offering expertise and develop relationships with key buyers and decision-makers at new and or existing clients to protect and grow the business. Additionally, they act as point of contact for resolution and escalation of all key items with the client and internally.
The work:
Shape, sell and close deals typically greater than $5M.
Proactively generate and build client relationships (qualify, solution, negotiate, close) and originate net-new opportunities
Articulate a compelling and differentiating value proposition to the client, that aligns to their business imperatives.
Create a compelling vision for the deal outcome through active listening, storytelling, and immersive experiences.
Work closely with the Client Account Lead, the client team and relevant subject matter experts.
Engage the firm’s leadership as appropriate and shepherd the deal through the firm’s approval process.
Provide discipline and rigor to the sales process as an expert on sales best practices.
Successfully lead and align a complex network of stakeholders.
Bring the right talent to the sales opportunities at the right time.
Here's what you need:
Minimum of 10 years’ experience shaping, negotiating, and closing large deals in the professional services space.
Experience selling to Software & Platform clients, with an understanding of current macro-pressures and priorities
Minimum of 6 years’ experience in direct sales with track record of exceeding annual quotas of $25 - $40M+
Experience partnering with ecosystem partners
Bonus points if you have:
Sales origination skills with C-suite executive presence
Experience selling multi-service group deals
Technology understanding and experience
Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) understanding and experience
Experience growing a profitable sales pipeline and/or backlog along with the ability to articulate a compelling and differentiating value proposition to the client which is also profitable to Accenture.
Experience collaborating with sales colleagues to ensure efficient and effective use of business development resources.
Professional connections within Software & Platforms clients in the greater Seattle metro area
Bachelor's degree
Professional Qualifications:

Proven ability to operate within a team-oriented environment

Conversant in emerging trends in IT and Business

Strong facilitation and communication skills - both written and verbal
Strong leadership, problem solving, and decision-making abilities
Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, New York or Washington as set forth below.
