The IT Operations and Security Director is a critical member of our U.S. IT leadership team. This role is responsible for strategic leadership and operational execution across IT Operations, Infrastructure, Network, Service Desk, and Information Security functions. You’ll collaborate with global IT leaders to deliver solutions and services that support business continuity, risk prevention, and efficient resource utilization.
This role will be based in our San Diego Launch Pad and have the flexibility to work a hybrid schedule.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Develop and implement ongoing strategic approaches for Infrastructural and Information Security services to enhance network security and infrastructure stability.
- Utilize cloud platforms to deliver stability, security, flexibility, and value.
- Accountable for successful project delivery, providing timely technical guidance.
- Drive approved Information Security plans aligned with the company’s Global Information Security strategy.
- Promote methodologies (Agile) and service delivery (ITIL) to achieve high-quality outcomes.
- Educate and guide cross-functional teams globally.
- Translate business requirements into scalable, secure, and supportable solutions.
- Develop business case analyses for capital and expense recommendations.
- Maintain budget control and effective expense management.
- Foster relationships with key business partners to understand demand and strategic needs.
- Collaborate with internal and external teams to find workable systems solutions. Demonstrate servant leadership, aligning with corporate values and the Code of Conduct.
- Provide coaching, talent development, and resources for team success.
What You’ll Bring To The Role
- 15+ years of IT experience.
- 10+ years in hands-on technical role within IT.
- 10+ years in an ITIL environment.
- 5+ years working in Information security tools and frameworks (CIS, NIST, ISO).
- 3+ years with Cloud Solutions/MS Azure (PAAS, IAAS, SAAS).
- Experience in organization with 2,000+ employees across multiple countries.
- 2+ years of Agile experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field, MBA a bonus.
Total Rewards
$130,000 – $175,000 / year includes base salary plus 10% - 15% profit-sharing contribution to your retirement account. Salary is determined by multiple factors including but not limited to relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications, and alignment with market data.
