Summary: As the Chief Operating Officer (COO) at Serenity Lane, you'll play a pivotal role in overseeing our daily operations to ensure the delivery of top-notch services and the attainment of our strategic objectives. Reporting directly to the President & CEO, you'll collaborate with the executive team to drive our organizational success.
Essential Duties:
- Provide strategic leadership to optimize operational efficiency across clinical, mental health, outpatient, IT, and EVS teams.
- Collaborate with department heads to develop and implement operational plans aligned with our mission and objectives.
- Oversee budgeting, financial planning, and resource allocation to support operational initiatives.
- Develop and monitor key performance metrics to drive continuous improvement.
- Foster a culture of excellence, teamwork, and innovation.
- Lead strategic initiatives to enhance organizational growth and quality of care.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and regulatory changes.
Other Duties:
- Collaborate on strategic planning and decision-making.
- Support board communications and presentations.
- Collaborate with other executives to optimize performance.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
- Proven leadership experience in healthcare operations, preferably in addiction treatment.
- Strong business acumen and strategic planning skills.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Analytical mindset with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations and quality assurance standards.
- Ability to build effective relationships and inspire trust.
- Visionary leadership with a results-oriented mindset.
Education, Experience:
- Master's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or related field.
- 7-10 years of progressive leadership experience in healthcare operations.
- 5 years of experience in healthcare clinical and facility operations, preferably in addiction treatment.
License/Certification:
- Relevant certifications or licensure preferred.
Other Requirements:
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel as needed.
