The Kindle Content and Physical Books team is looking for a passionate and visionary Senior Product Manager who loves to innovate and create world-class customer experiences that will enhance the product availability of Books customers. This includes end to end ownership of building features that improves our vision of becoming the preferred destination for customers to purchase and read books across our business by improving customer experience.
As the 3P books Senior Product Manager, your responsibilities include creating a vision for Authenticity for 3P books US and WW, and delivering a minimal defect experience for our Books customers with respect to Duplicates or abusive listings. This includes end to end ownership of features to build a system that detects inauthentic listings (3P duplicates/counterfeits), manages elimination of these defects and building features to reduce defects at source. You’ll collaborate with central 3P teams like Listing services, CDT etc to drive these initiatives. Additionally, this role will partner with Finance, IDQ and internal stakeholders while owning the product roadmap strategy and execution. The Senior Product Manager work will directly influence the shopping experience of millions of customers by improving their experience of buying with authentic listings from sellers
About the team:
The 3P Books team operates cross-functionally, partnering closely with WW books teams, Central 3P teams, Finance, and Technology teams to deliver results. This is a highly visible position that includes interactions with leaders across the organization – from senior Books leaders through systems and operations managers – to drive alignment and deliver results.
Key job responsibilities
- Define the Vision for 3P Books Authenticity – Set Mechanisms (MBRs/WBRs), define metrics to measure progress
- Think creatively to Define requirements for the work streams on Reduction of Inauthentic listings (duplicates & counterfeits other defects)
- Have end-to-end ownership of 3P Books authenticity initiatives with Senior Leadership goals and visibility, from conceptualization to implementation
- Be the central voice of WW 3P Books to champion authenticity initiatives and extend them beyond Books across the company
- Refine Policies for Books by working with 3P org related to Seller enforcement to improve CX

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience with end to end product delivery
- Experience as a product manager or owner
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in influencing senior leadership through data driven insights
- Experience working across functional teams and senior stakeholders

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $124,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $206,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
