Your Role
The Strategic Planning and Performance team develops long-term strategies, annual plans, and performance reporting for the Individual and Family Plan line of business. The Strategic Planning and Performance, Consultant will report to the Director, Strategic Planning & Performance Management. In this role you will play a critical role in supporting strategies with our business partners in support of IFP growth, affordability, access to care and quality goals. Additionally, you will lead activities that optimize the performance of IFP, including managing the monthly and quarterly business review meetings.
Your Work
In this role, you will:
- Be responsible for planning and implementation of moderately complex projects
- Recommend effective action plans based on key business issues and implements to successful conclusion
- Be responsible for facilitating annual strategic planning process
- Assist financial partners to complete business planning and forecasting
- Assist in overseeing budget planning as part of the annual budget cycle
- Create dashboard reporting, portfolio processes and operating models to support IFP strategic goals
- Lead end-to-end preparations for Monthly, Quarterly Business Reviews and IFP performance management forums, including aggregating performance data and preparing information and meeting materials
- Manage logistics and support the development of materials - including presentations or reports or data analysis - for internal events such as All-Hands, Townhalls and executive briefings and external meetings
- Manage large sets of data and track to deadlines to support a variety of executive-level forums in support of IFP strategic planning and performance reporting
- Collaborate with functional partners to create insightful key performance metrics for the IFP line of business that drives transparency and action to meet required performance and desired outcomes
Your Knowledge and Experience
- Requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Requires at least 7 years of prior relevant experience
- Requires health insurance experience
- Requires experience developing and maintaining strategies - people, process, and technology
- Requires experience with data analytics and ability to provide insights to leadership
- Requires excellent verbal and written communication, including ability to provide quality reporting at a level appropriate for executive leadership and Board of Directors
- Proven experience and ability to collaborate with and influence team members of all-levels functioning in a matrix environment
Pay Range:
The pay range for this role is: $118,800.00 to $178,200.00 for California.
