Primary Duties And Responsibilities

Position Overview

As a Product Manager you will evaluate Industrial applications, provide product solutions, and strive to foster a strong relationship with our Vendor Partners.

Key Responsibilities

Provide technical and sales support
Go on sales calls and schedule appointments with potential new Morrell accounts
Help provide technical training at 2 product training meetings (PTM) per year
Establish root cause of possible failures to machines and plan corrective action with the right product of applications
Achieve mutually agreed upon annual corporate sales goals for all products applicable to the industrial market
Provide training to Morrell sales staff relative to applications and products
Foster a positive team environment by assisting co-workers
Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization
Perform other duties as assigned

Knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems related to the Industrial industry
Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with engineers and technical designers to determine and deliver appropriate customer solutions

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The work is sedentary. Typically the employee may sit comfortably to do the work. However, there may be some movement from area to area, transporting of items such as a laptop computer, printers, servers, paper, books, and small parts; driving an automobile, etc.

Work Environment

While performing the primary duties of the job, the employee is regularly exposed to general office environment. Overnight travel may be required, but seldom; work outside normal business hours is required from time to time.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent work experience

Experience

1-5 years industry experience minimum
