Child Care Director

Duties:

Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum and activities for children.
Supervise and manage staff, including hiring, training, and evaluating performance.
Ensure compliance with all licensing regulations and maintain accurate records.
Maintain a safe and clean environment for children.
Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding their child's progress and any concerns.
Collaborate with other professionals, such as teachers and therapists, to support children's development.
Manage the budget and financial aspects of the child care center.
Create schedules.
Ensure that the facility is safe and well-stocked, including checking the safety of equipment, removing hazards, and ensuring the facility is always clean and orderly.
Fill in when needed.

Experience:

Previous experience working with children in an educational or child care setting.
Strong leadership skills and the ability to effectively manage a team.
Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Familiarity with licensing regulations and compliance requirements.
Associate degree or higher preferred.
