Position

As a Laboratory Toxicology Junior Supervisor, you will assist the Toxicology Supervisor in our mission to provide precise and prompt lab results while maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality.

Responsibilities:

Assist in designing and modifying Standard Operating Procedures for validations and clinical testing.
Help oversee LC/MS and Mass Spectrometry instruments.
Step in as Acting Supervisor when the Supervisor is on PTO.
Assist in interpreting data and generating patient result reports.
Help manage Quality Control Runs and take corrective actions as needed.
Ensure laboratory safety compliance and instrument standards.
Provide training and guidance to new employees.
Conduct risk assessments and report findings.
Assist in advising on the safe handling of toxic substances.
Aid in laboratory inspections and maintain standards.
Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor of Science degree or higher in chemistry, biology, clinical laboratory science, or a related field.
Minimum of 2 years documented experience in clinical lab toxicology.
Exceptional organizational skills with a methodical approach to work.
Proficiency in collecting and analyzing large volumes of experimental data.
Meticulous attention to detail.
Strong work management and problem-solving skills.
Ability to multitask and deliver test results promptly.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Schedule: Swing Shift - Flexible Hours, likely Tuesday to Saturday, and will move to a Wednesday to Sunday schedule in the future.

Background Check Requirement:

A background check is required for this position. Continued employment is dependent on the outcome of the background check.
