Pure Search are delighted to be partnering with a company in Boston to recruit a Senior Tax Manager into the team.

Duties include;-

Prepare and file federal, state and local income tax returns
Ensure timely and accurate filing of quarterly and annual tax returns.
Handle multi-state tax compliance, including nexus considerations.
Tax Provision and Reporting:
Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual tax provisions in accordance with ASC 740.
Prepare and analyze tax account reconciliations.
Ensure compliance with SOX controls and documentation requirements.
Tax Research and Planning:
Conduct research on complex tax issues and provide recommendations.
Monitor changes in tax laws and regulations, and assess their impact on the company.
Assist in tax planning initiatives to optimize tax positions and minimize liabilities.
Audit Support:
Prepare and manage documentation for tax audits.
Liaise with external auditors and tax authorities as needed.
Respond to tax notices and inquiries in a timely manner.
Process Improvement:
Identify opportunities for process improvements in tax compliance procedures.
Implement best practices and streamline tax workflows.

Qualifications:

Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA or Master’s in Taxation preferred.
Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in US tax compliance, preferably in a corporate business
