Position Title: Commercial Security Sales Consultant/ Security Sales Consultant - Low Voltage

Position Type: Full-Time (40+ hours per week); Nights and weekends may be required to meet client scheduling needs, but not on a regular basis.

Required Education or Formal Training: High school degree or equivalent required.

Required Experience / Knowledge:

3-5 years of proven outside sales experience, required.
General knowledge of building trades, required.
Security industry experience, required.

Job Description:

Commercial Security Sales Consultant will be responsible for increased sales of commercial security systems and other security-related solutions by aggressively soliciting and generating leads.

Specific responsibilities include:

Proactively identify new sales leads and prospective clients
Consistently attend networking events (e.g. local chamber events, industry events, etc.) to build contacts, sales leads, and prospective clients
Establish relationships with existing clients to obtain referrals to develop into new sales leads and prospective clients
Conduct site visits to inspect customers’ premises and recommend security solutions consistent with Company practices
Design security solutions in accordance with client’s needs
Prepare sales quote documents according to established Company procedure with accurate labor and parts estimates
Assist technicians with job preparation and change orders, as necessary
Follow-up on outstanding sales quotes
Follow-up with customers to determine satisfaction with completed job
Follow-up with non-payment issues, if necessary
Offer exceptional customer service
Attend sales meetings
Develop and maintain expertise on products sold and including emerging technology and product offerings
Meet or exceed sales quotas

Compensation:

This position pays base salary plus commission. A vehicle allowance and cell phone will be provided. Generally a base of $40,000 - $55,000 plus an uncapped commission, depending on experience, making yearly compensation around $80,000 - $100,000.
