Condominium Management is looking for an Accountant to join our team in our Worcester, MA office. A strong work ethic, attention to detail, and demonstrated knowledge of accrual-based accounting are a must.

Job Responsibilities:

Oversee and complete month-end close activities for approximately 20 condominium associations, including preparation and posting of journal entries to general ledger.
Prepare expense accruals, account reconciliations, and bank reconciliations in Excel spreadsheets.
Prepare financial statements for all associations monthly in Vantaca.
Code AP invoices per budget and property manager direction.
Weekly AP Checks.
Participate in a wide variety of special projects and analysis as necessary.
Set up new association accounts as required.
Cash management of all condominiums daily.
Respond to client calls and questions as needed.
Assist managers with budget preparations yearly.
Set up new fiscal year budgets, fees & SCF’s in Vantaca.
Answering Trustees questions and inquiries regarding Financial Statements.

Knowledge and Skills Required:

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field is required.
Strong attention to detail and confidentiality.
Proficiency in MS Office, including intermediate to expert Excel skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently with minimal direction.
Experience with Vantaca and Sage/Timberline software is preferred.
Condominium experience a plus.
