Job Overview:

Back 2 Health Physical Therapy is seeking a full time Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team. We are a successful and established, Physical Therapist owned practice with three locations throughout the Los Angeles area.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Provides treatment to patients as directed by the Physical Therapist.
Explains the physical therapy procedures and equipment to patients and checks for understanding.
Instructs patients, families, and caregivers in physical therapy interventions, modalities, and home exercise programs.
Documents patient care services by charting in files and EMR according to guidelines in a timely manner.
Assists with cleaning and maintenance of treatment area and practice.
Implements patient treatment plans with guidance from Physical Therapist.
Reports all changes to patient’s condition to the Physical Therapist as immediacy dictates.

Requirements:

Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
Strong problem-solving skills.
Ability to maintain confidentiality of patient information.
Strong computer skills.
Strong knowledge of medical terminology and physiology.

Education and Experience:

Graduate from a Physical Therapy Assistant program.
Current licensure as Physical Therapy Assistant in California.
Current CPR Certification.

This position is full time (40 hours weekly).

Schedule: Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays 8am - 4pm; Tuesdays and Thursdays 11am - 7pm.
