Qualifications:

Valid Maryland state dental hygiene license
Knowledge of dental terminology, medical terminology, and HIPAA regulations
Current CPR certification
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to educate patients on oral health and hygiene practices
Commitment to maintaining a high standard of patient care

Responsibilities:

Perform thorough dental cleanings and preventive services
Conduct patient assessments and screenings
Collaborate with dentist and other team members to develop personalized treatment plans
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care
Take dental x-rays
Administer fluoride treatments and apply sealants
Maintain accurate patient records

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $56.00 - $60.00 per hour
