Position Overview: We are seeking a talented and experienced Project Lead to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction and project management, with a proven track record of successfully leading residential remodeling projects. You will collaborate closely with designers, tradespeople, and clients to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and exceed expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

Set daily goals for team members by reviewing project scopes and status.
Ensure job site checklists are accurate and complete daily.
Weekly review with Production Leader to compare estimated vs. actual field hours.
Order, verify, and track materials, ensuring correct delivery and condition.
Manage receipts, invoices, safety forms, and time-off requests by Thursdays.
Plan ahead for material needs to maintain efficiency.
Provide feedback constructively and encourage team morale.
Install stairs, doors, windows, trim, cabinets, kitchens, and baths with precision.
Perform carpentry, framing, and renovation work as required.
Diagnose and repair older structures.
Communicate with architects, designers, and subcontractors effectively.
Verify time reports and maintain project accuracy.
Use BuilderTrend for daily logs and communication.
Attend weekly Project Leader and monthly Company meetings.
Ensure all work meets JRS standards, maintaining safety and proper protocols at all times.
Lead weekly safety meetings and uphold health and safety procedures.

Qualifications:

Proven experience leading projects in the construction or remodeling industry.
Strong knowledge of construction practices and processes, including carpentry, plumbing, and electrical work.
Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide team members.
Excellent problem-solving abilities and a keen attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in construction management or a related field is preferred.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
