Job Duties

Assess patients' needs and evaluate their physical condition to determine the appropriate orthotic or prosthetic device.
Design, fabricate, and fit prosthetic limbs or other orthopedic devices for patients.
Collaborate with physicians, physical therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop a comprehensive treatment plan.
Provide ongoing care and adjustments to orthotic and prosthetic devices to ensure optimal fit and function.
Educate patients on the proper use and maintenance of their devices.
Document patient progress and maintain accurate records.

Experience

Patient Age Range: Experience working with pediatric, adult & geriatric patients and addressing their unique needs in orthotic and prosthetic care.
Physical examinations: Proficiency in conducting physical examinations to assess patients' physical condition and determine appropriate treatment options.
Patient care: Ability to provide compassionate and patient-focused care.
Patient service: Strong customer service skills to effectively communicate with patients, address their concerns, and ensure their satisfaction with their orthotic or prosthetic device.
Post residency: Completion of a NCOPE residency program in Prosthetics and Orthotics.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
