Thirteenth Floor Entertainment Group is looking for a driven, capable, and eager Senior
Accountant to join our team. This position will work across all business units to perform a
wide variety of accounting functions while leading the department in process development
and ensuring all accounting duties are completed.

Responsibilities:

Perform all necessary accounting functions, including preparing all general ledgers, reconciliations and customized financial and managerial reports.
Prepare monthly financial statement package and management review.
Give presentations at client, shareholder, and/or Board of Director meetings to review financial information.
Responsible for substantive audit review and compliance testing, involving drafting and reviewing of audit reports and obtaining clean audit opinions.
Provide advice on compliance requirements, investment regulations and current accounting developments that affect the company.
Monitor cash flow, prepare budgets and ad hoc reports.
Working directly with our external audit firm to help with the successful completion of annual audits and reviews.
Exploring opportunities to improve the financial reporting processes, including improvements to existing controls.
Working on monthly close accounting processes to help facilitate the timely completion of the month end close.
Capturing new leases/modifications accurately in the accounting system.
Determining appropriate accounting treatment of acquisitions and sales.
Assisting with special projects, including technical accounting research and preparation of proforma information.
Assisting in the preparation of various budgets, forecasts and detailed financial analysis for the company.
Maintain accurate accounting data.

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in accounting or related field required.
3+ years experience in accounting.
Public Accounting experience preferred.
CPA a plus.
