Job Description: We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accounting Intern to join our finance team. This internship offers an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in gaining practical experience in accounting while contributing to the day-to-day operations of our company. As an Accounting Intern, you will work closely with our finance professionals and gain exposure to various aspects of accounting, including financial reporting, analysis, and reconciliation.

Responsibilities:

Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including invoice processing, payment processing, and reconciliation.
Support the month-end close process by preparing journal entries and reconciling balance sheet accounts.
Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports.
Conduct financial analysis and assist in budgeting and forecasting activities.
Assist with audit preparations and provide support during audits.
Help maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
Collaborate with team members on special projects and initiatives as needed.

Qualifications:

Currently pursuing an undergrad or graduate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle NetSuite).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Eagerness to learn and take on new challenges.
Prior internship or relevant experience in accounting is a plus, but not required.

Duration and Compensation: This is a part-time paid internship position, with a duration of 8 to 12 months.
