The Managing Lead Teacher (MLT) is a professional teacher and manager who provides a critical link between the Director of Education and Teaching staff. The position reports directly to the Director of Education and is an excellent opportunity for learning the Director’s job.

The MLT ensures that teachers have the supplies and resources they need to do their jobs. That includes organizing, directing, and supervising teacher schedules. Working with the Director, the MLT develops and implements contingency plans to ensure compliance with staffing ratios.

The MLT is required to be an excellent organizer and communicator. The successful candidate is a multi-purpose manager, whose responsibilities include student development, great parent relationships, teaching classroom management skills, and ensuring that teachers and facility staff keep the facility clean and hygienic.
