OBJECTIVE

The Financial Wellness Program Manager will build and maintain Clearview’s Financial Wellness Program to offer financial literacy services to members, our community, and workplace partners. Additionally, the Manager will work with various departments within the credit union to ensure consistent messaging and programming across all areas. Responsibilities include developing and advising on financial education programs to help achieve business goals and improve our members’ financial health. The Manager is responsible for overseeing all financial education programs, developing educational materials, leading workshops, and providing one-on-one coaching to community members. The Manager will also train and coach employees to provide financial counseling during regular interactions with members and through scheduled appointments.

WORKING HOURS

Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:00pm; Flexible schedule based on operational needs, including evenings and weekends when needed.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Three to five years of similar or related experience required.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
Previous financial services experience or knowledge preferred.
Strong writing, presentation, and communication skills.
Working knowledge of PowerPoint, Microsoft Office products, and virtual meeting tools.
Experience in and demonstrated ability to conduct small and large group presentations.
Ability to work flexible hours before, during, and after regular business hours, including weekends.
Valid PA Driver’s License.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Conduct educational workshops, meetings, classes, and training related to various financial literacy topics such as budgeting, debt consolidation, retirement planning, and other financial topics.
Select, create, revise, and adapt curriculum and educational materials to meet diverse learners' varying needs, abilities, and interests.
Continually research and gather information on financial literacy best practices to inform financial literacy methods.
Prepare for scheduled classes, determining and adapting to best practices for specific groups, and provide written evidence of preparation upon request of immediate supervisors.
Develop evaluation metrics for the Financial Wellness Program to inform improvements and provide reports to management upon request.
Use various forms of communication to work with groups of various sizes and ages.
Vet and maintain financial education certifications for the position and organization.
Cultivate and manage vendor relationships related to financial education solutions.
Support the AVP Public Relations & Community Engagement in the budgeting process as it relates to financial education initiatives.
