JcorD Construction Services is a subcontractor that performs concrete cutting, wall & wire sawing, patch back, excavation and demolition work. JcorD has been in business since 2015, is SBE certified, and has experienced substantial growth over its nearly 10 years in business. We are looking for a strong accounting leader that has excellent work ethic, strict attention to detail and to meeting deadlines. Salary will be commensurate with experience.

Qualifications:

Education: College degree preferred.
Experience:
- 10+ years in accounting.
- At least 5 years in a management role.
- Construction industry experience preferred.
Skills:
- Proficiency in AIA billings, certified payrolls, job costing, WIP reporting.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Experience with monthly close and reconciliation procedures.
- Willingness to be hands-on to ensure accurate monthly close.

Responsibilities:

Managing and overseeing the daily operations of the accounting department.
Handling AIA billings, certified payrolls, job costing, and WIP reporting.
Ensuring accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes.
Preparing financial statements, ensuring compliance with GAAP.
Coordinating and completing annual audits.
Improving systems and procedures and initiating corrective actions.
