1st Choice Healthcare is accepting applications for a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner.

The Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner is an integral part of the care team, providing direct patient services in person and via telehealth in the areas of behavioral health and substance use disorder (SUD) treatment. Responsibilities include comprehensive patient assessments, diagnosis, and implementation of treatment plans, as well as monitoring and evaluating patient progress. The APRN will work collaboratively with the primary care and behavioral health teams to deliver integrated, patient-centered care.

Qualifications:

Graduation from an accredited institution, a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner program recognized by the Board of Nursing or from a program otherwise designated for Advanced Practice Registered Nurses which has been approved by the Arkansas State Board of Nursing.
Maintain a current certification to practice in the State of Arkansas.
DEA license required.
1 year of service in behavioral health a plus.
Must have the ability to work effectively and independently and in a team environment.
Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with people of all backgrounds.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Travel required between clinic locations.
