Hospice Care of the Lowcountry (HCL) is an independent, community-based, hospice and palliative care non-profit organization, serving Beaufort and Jasper counties for more than 40 years. Established to give comfort, honor, and dignity for end-of-life patients and their families through compassionate physical, emotional, and spiritual care, regardless of their financial circumstances. We help our valued patients, and their families experience the fullness and dignity they deserve, even as they face the anxieties associated with the end of life.

Primary Function:

The Director of Clinical Services coordinates the activities of the clinical staff to assure the organization programs and services are consistent with state and federal standards. The Director of Clinical Services provides clinical leadership, guidance, and mentorship to the patient care staff. Oversees program development and participates in organization planning and oversees patient care expenses. Ensures oversight of the quality and compliance program to include risk assessment, HIPAA, internal monitoring, and emergency preparedness plan.

This position has a medical benefit package starting on day one and is 100% employer paid for employee.

Qualifications:

Current license to practice as Registered Nurse in the state of South Carolina
Experience in hospice and/or home health
BSN and Certified in Hospice and Palliative Care preferred
Leadership, Supervisory, and Management experience required
Commitment to hospice philosophy, compassionate end-of-life care
Interpersonal skills to motivate and engage staff to be active in quality improvement activities
Analytical, problem-solving skills
Direct and concise communicator
Well versed in analytics and excellent presentation skills
Clinical thinker with solid nursing judgment

Pay: $80,185.00 - $90,000.00 per year
