RN/LPN

The #1 Priority of this position is…

To care for residents by rendering general nursing care.

Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with approved nursing techniques, including IV meds, if certified.
Take temperature, pulse, blood pressure and other vital signs to detect deviations from normal and determine progress of residents.
Assemble and use such equipment as catheters, tracheotomy tubes and oxygen suppliers.
Evaluate residents’ needs, condition and care and assist in developing nursing care plan for individual residents.

Minimum Requirements:

A current Florida LPN or RN license.
Experience in long-term care preferred.
Good communication skills, both verbal and written in English. Spanish preferred.
Knowledge of local, state and federal regulations.
