Southeastern Rheumatology Alliance is seeking a skilled and compassionate Infusion Registered Nurse to join our dynamic healthcare team in Atlanta, GA. The infusion nurse will be responsible for administering intravenous medications to patients in a private practice medical setting. The ideal candidate should possess strong clinical skills, exceptional patient care abilities, and a commitment to delivering high-quality healthcare services.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Administer intravenous medications, fluids, and blood products according to physician orders and nursing protocols. Aid physicians during examinations and procedures.
Monitor patients during infusion therapy to assess vital signs, evaluate patient response, and manage any adverse reactions.
Maintain accurate documentation of patient care activities, including infusion records, medication administration, and patient progress notes.
Clean and prepare patient areas, equipment, and tools.
Collaborate with physicians, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and ensure treatment goals are met.
Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and standards to maintain a safe environment for patients and healthcare staff.
Assist in the maintenance and organization of infusion supplies and equipment.

Qualifications:

Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Georgia
Degree in Registered Nursing
Experience with EMR systems
Proficiency in administering IV medications and managing central venous access devices (CVADs).
