Accounts Payable Specialist – Part-time

Professional Placement Services is seeking a detail-oriented individual to join our Solon accounting staff as an Accounts Payable Specialist. The ideal candidate will have some bookkeeping or A/P background, QuickBooks experience is a plus. Position is onsite in our Solon office 2-3 days per week.

Job Responsibilities:

Completes payments by receiving, processing, verifying, and reconciling invoices.
Charges expenses to accounts and cost centers by analyzing invoices and entering them into QuickBooks.
Pays vendors, obtaining federal id numbers when necessary, scheduling and preparing checks and initiating online payments.
Mailing vendor payments timely.
Processes employee travel expense reports.
Disburses petty cash by recording entry and verifying documentation.
Protects organization’s value by keeping information confidential.
Reconciles company credit card statements, records all expenses, ensures timely payment of all accounts, and maintains company records of same.
Assists the Accounting Manager with additional bookkeeping tasks as needed.

Previous accounts payable experience preferred
