The Senior Accountant will focus on a variety of matters including, but not limited to month-end close, internal and external reporting and operational accounting support. This position requires effective collaboration within the accounting department, internal departments, and external vendors to support our high growth rate. The Senior Accountant should have strong business and financial acumen with superb attention to detail. The Senior Accountant will have high visibility to the Assistant Controller and other members of Management and will have the opportunity to participate in several aspects of operating a rapidly growing business.

Specific Responsibilities

Prepare various monthly balance sheet reconciliations, account analysis, related support, and adjusting journal entries as needed for month end reporting
Focus areas include sales tax, customer loyalty program, and ERP maintenance for product pricing
Assist with various business compliance activities and documentation, including SOX
Support interim and year-end financial statement audit
Participate in and lead special projects focused on continuous improvement of accounting practices
Collaborate with functional departments to ensure processes follow Controllership guidelines
Other ad hoc projects and responsibilities as assigned
Work across multiple different accounting systems (ERPs)
Individual should have a willingness to dive-in and analyze complex issues

Required Qualifications

3+ years of corporate accounting and/or public accounting experience
Intermediate Excel knowledge
Demonstration of financial and analytical skills with the ability to think creatively and innovatively
Ability to adapt to changing environments

Preferred Qualifications

CPA or eligible to sit for the CPA exam
Experience with SAP Business One

Workplace Location

Hybrid, minimum 3 days in office
