About the Program: This program is a unique collaboration between youth-focused organizations and law enforcement. It specializes in supporting young people referred by police officers, offering them vital services to improve their behavior, school performance, family relationships, and community connections. Through a comprehensive four-tier model, this program provides community referrals, clinical case management, individual and family therapy, parental guidance, and advocacy.

Your Role: As the Assistant Clinical Director, you’ll work alongside the Clinical Director to ensure the highest level of care for the youth served. This is more than a supervisory role — you’ll mentor, guide, and inspire a team of dedicated social workers while directly contributing to improving the lives of Boston’s youth. Your work will leave a lasting impact on young lives, families, and the broader community.

What You’ll Do:

Attend senior management meetings and contribute to the strategic direction of the program.
Co-facilitate group supervision and clinical social work trainings to enhance staff development.
Provide weekly, one-on-one supervision to support and grow your team’s clinical skills.
Oversee home visits and assessments to ensure comprehensive, effective care.
Triage new client referrals and ensure they receive the appropriate level of service.
Monitor and review cases and treatment plans to maintain high standards.
Offer immediate support during client emergencies.
Advocate for the program in high-level meetings on juvenile justice.
Oversee case documentation and program outcomes data to track success.
Step in to cover for other social workers when needed, ensuring continuity of care.
Assist in interviewing, onboarding, and training new staff members.
Work closely with the Clinical Director to coordinate seamless care for all clients.

Requirements:

Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) with LICSW certification.
A minimum of 4 years of clinical supervisory experience.
At least 7 years of experience working with youth and families.
Strong teamwork skills with a high degree of self-direction.
Excellent communication, organization, and leadership abilities.
Flexibility, a good sense of humor, and the ability to work with diverse populations.
Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation.
Occasional evening or weekend hours may be required.

Pay: $85,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
