We are currently seeking two qualified, compassionate Registered Nurses to join our team on a part-time basis at UVM UHC, 1 South Prospect Street. The RNs will work closely with the Mental Health Urgent Care business partners (Howard Center and Pathways) to provide clinical care for patients seeking mental health services at the MHUC clinic. They will be valuable and supportive team members who will provide nursing assessment and triage, care coordination (such as med refills, contacting PCP, etc.), and general wound care to a diverse population. In addition, they will support patient care at other CHC locations remotely as time allows. This may include, but is not limited to, triage, care coordination, panel management, outreach and special projects as assigned. Registered Nurses facilitate patient care activities and patient flow and are responsible for assisting with patient triage, patient care documentation and being an integral part of the clinical team. This position is also eligible for the New Relocating Worker Grant, a grant for new Vermont residents who are relocating to the state after accepting a qualifying position.

Basic Qualifications

- Registered Nurse Licensure
- Good standing with Vermont State Board of Nursing
- Basic Life Support Certification
- Strong clinical skills, and able to thrive in a fast-paced medical team environment
- Familiarization with electronic medical record and electronic scheduling systems
- Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently, anticipate needs, creatively problem solve and take initiative to improve patient care at CHC
