Title: Technology Chief of Staff
Location: Dallas, TX. On site daily. No remote. Prefer local candidates. If you are not in the Dallas, TX area, you must be open to relocation.
Compensation: $250K to $350K base plus significant bonus potential.

Job Description:
A senior role in supporting the Chief Information Technology Officer (CITO) in managing the information technology function and aligning them with the overall strategic goals of the organization.

Overview

The technology chief of staff is responsible for overseeing the technology strategy and functional alignment with the portfolio companies.
The technology chief of staff leads the technology project portfolio, agile methodologies and performance reporting for the organization.
The technology chief of staff works closely with the CITO, the technology leadership team, and the business stakeholders to ensure that the technology function delivers value, efficiency, and innovation.
The technology chief of staff also acts as a liaison between the technology function and the executive team, the portfolio companies, and external partners.

Responsibilities

Lead and support the agile transformation initiatives across the technology function.
Develop and execute the technology strategy and roadmap in alignment with the business goals and priorities.
Coordinate and facilitate the technology governance, planning, budgeting, and resource allocation processes.
Manage and monitor the technology portfolio, projects, and programs, ensuring timely delivery, quality, and value.
Establish and maintain the dashboard and reporting framework for the technology function, providing visibility, transparency, and insights to the stakeholders.
Communicate and collaborate effectively with the CITO, the technology leadership team, the business stakeholders, the executive team, the portfolio companies, and external partners.

Skillset / Experience:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field. Master's degree or MBA preferred.
At least 10 years of experience in technology management, project management, or consulting roles.
Proven track record of leading and delivering complex technology projects and programs.
Ability to understand complex ideas and summarize them.
Action oriented with a bias on driving results.
Able to influence cross functional teams leading to successful outcomes.
Strong knowledge and experience in technology strategy, governance, architecture, and innovation.
Expertise in change management, agile methodologies, and performance reporting.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic, and collaborative environment.
