Our ideal Assistant Director of Finance helps develop and implement strategic plans for all finance-related programs, including insurance, risk management, information systems, purchasing, payroll, and benefits. The Assistant Director of Finance helps develop, review, and distribute capital and operational budgets. Develops, reviews, and distributes monthly financial statements. The Assistant Director of Finance prepares cash flow forecasts. This Assistant Director of Finance helps the Director of Finance oversee daily bank balance activity to mitigate risk and ensure optimal operating cash reserves and collaborates with the operations, development, and HR on organizational initiatives and strategic planning.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in accounting or financeis requiredfor the Assistant Director of Finance
The Assistant Director of Finance is preferred to have 2+ years of experience in hotel accounting
The Assistant Director of Finance must have experience managing organizations with a minimum annual revenue of $20M per year preferred
Trust, honesty, integrity, and a true passion for accuracy are requirements for the Assistant Director of Finance
Experience in hospitality and is recommended for the Assistant Director of Finance
The Assistant Director of Finance should have an understanding of hotel accounting processes including AP, AR, GL, and cash
