To prosper as a Dental Assistant, you should have:

At least 2 years of continuous experience
Dental Assistant Certification or Associate’s degree in Dental Assisting program
Stellar verbal and written communication skills

More about your role as a Dental Assistant:

Prepare patients for dental work
Sterilize and disinfect instruments, setting up trays
Assist in dental procedures including fillings, cleanings, root canals, extractions, crown and bridge work, dental implants, etc.
Collect and record medical and dental history
