Responsibilities

Perform a wide range of accounting and administrative duties to support the accounting department.

Description

To fulfill the responsibilities, Candidate is required to:

Perform general accounting and other related duties in the accounting department.
Prepare periodic balance sheets and profit and loss statements.
Maintain the general ledger.
Code invoices, set up new accounts, reconcile accounts, and close the monthly books.
Reconcile bank accounts at least monthly, verify deposits, and address inquiries from banks.
Reconcile customer accounts and manage accounts receivable collections.
Verify payment of invoices associated with accounts payable and ensure payments are charged to the appropriate accounts.
Maintain fixed assets and depreciation schedule.
Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Candidates must have:

Good analytical skills and the ability to problem solve.
The ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
The ability to work independently as well as with a team.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Advanced Excel/PowerPoint skills preferred.
The ability to communicate and work with HQ in Japan and other offices worldwide.
Knowledge of Japanese language is a plus.

Education

Bachelor's / Master's in Accounting.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
